AYURVEDIC HERBS for Women, Men, and Mama-hood

Sep 4, 2014 | Ayurveda, Motherhood

These two Ayurvedic herbs, Ashwagandha and Shatavari, offer so much to women at all stages of life and motherhood – and they can support men too! Ashwagandha has been used in India for hundreds, maybe even thousands, of years.  It promotes rejuvenation and is an adaptogenic – it helps you manage stress in all systems of the body, it sustains life, promotes longevity and high quality tissues, fosters healthy sleeping patterns, promotes a healthy nervous system, and so much more!

Shatavari has also been used for many of years as an overall female tonic and hormone balancer. It’s great during menstruation, and perfect to help women transition off the contraceptive pill. It works to regulate the menstrual cycle, irregularities, menopausal symptoms, harmonise hormones, increase fertility, offer postpartum breastmilk support and a whole lot more.

Listen in to a recent interview I did with Sarah Louisignau for her Birth Works series, which covers all you need to know about these two incredible herbs, which are both very safe and easily accessible.

DISCLAIMER: Please consult an Ayurvedic Practitioner to seek guidance around when and how to take these powerful herbs.
