300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

By enrolling in the 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Shruti School of Yoga and Amy Landry, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are in place to ensure clarity, fairness, and a safe learning environment for all participants. In this document, the 300-hour YTT may be referred to as “course”, “training”, “program”, “offering”, and “YTT”.
1. Payment Policy
- A non-refundable deposit of $600 AUD is required to secure your place.
- All fees and prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
- The remaining balance must be paid in full by the stated due date unless a payment plan has been arranged and agreed to in writing.
- All payment methods and details will be provided upon enrolment, if not prior.
- Use of any payment plan will incur a small administration fee.
- Payment plan is not a membership and cannot be cancelled. All payments must be processed. Through committing to a payment plan, you agree to make all payments until the total course costs are finalised.
- Partial-scholarships will be offered at the discretion of Amy Landry. They cannot be transferred to another training. If you are offered a partial-scholarship, you are still required to pay the non-refundable $600AUD deposit upfront prior to course commencement. Remaining balance can be paid in full, prior to course commencement, or via a payment plan agreed to in writing with Amy Landry which will require monthly payment instalments.
2. Cancellations, Refunds & Deferrals Policy
- The $600 AUD deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
- If you cancel:
- More than 60 days before the course start date: You are eligible for a refund of any payments made, minus the deposit.
- 30–59 days before the start date: 50% of the full course fee (excluding the deposit) will be refunded.
- Less than 30 days before the start date: No refund is available.
- Requests for deferral to a future training will be considered only once, for the next scheduled training (if one is offered), and must be made in writing. There is no guarantee of when or if a future training will occur. There is no deferral for partial-scholarships.
- A small transfer/deferral fee may apply to cover administrative costs.
3. Complaints & Communication
- Any cancellations, concerns, or formal complaints must be submitted in writing via email to Amy Landry at amy@amyelandry.com

- This document will be issued no later than the official course start date.
- During your studies, it is expected that your teacher/s (Amy Landry and any other faculty that present sessions live) act in accordance with Yoga Australia’s Code of Professional Conduct. Any complaints should be made directly to your teacher in writing. If it is not suitable to direct your complaint to the teacher, you can seek information from the Yoga Australia documentation on Student Teacher Relationship Guidelines and/or Grievances. 4. Online Participation Requirements
- All live online classes will be conducted via Zoom. Participants must have access to the Zoom app on a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a stable internet connection.
- The training schedule will be designed with multiple time zones in mind, and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate participants across regions.
- Please note: session times may shift slightly due to daylight savings changes in different parts of the world.
- Participants are required to download the free WhatsApp or Telegram app for group communications. Amy Landry will communicate prior to course commencement which app will be required.
5. Schedule Changes
- Shruti School of Yoga / Amy Landry reserves the right to alter the days and times of the live sessions in the unlikely event of:
- Personal illness or injury
- Family emergencies (e.g., a situation involving the health, wellbeing, or urgent care of a child or close family member)
- If such changes are required, students will be notified as early as possible, and alternative arrangements or dates will be offered.
6. Attendance, Certification & Mentoring
- 100% attendance at all required training modules is mandatory for certification, unless otherwise approved in advance in writing.
- Any missed sessions must be made up via approved methods, which may include additional assignments or private make-up sessions at an extra cost.
- The live sessions are an essential component of the training. If you’re unable to attend an occasional session due to unexpected circumstances, you must notify Amy Landry in writing in advance of the live session start time. You must attend a certain percentage of course hours live to receive your certification. Recordings of live sessions will be provided and uploaded to the course portal online within 5 business days.
- Certification is subject to:

- Full participation
- Successful completion of all coursework
- Adherence to the Code of Conduct
- Upon completion of the training, a 6-month group mentoring program will commence.
- Mentoring will be facilitated via the free Telegram app, which all participants will be required to join.
- This support container is included in your tuition and is considered a valuable integration period post-certification.
7. Conduct, Dismissal & Ethics
- All participants are expected to uphold a standard of respect and ethical behaviour.
- Shruti School of Yoga / Amy Landry reserves the right to dismiss any participant for:
- Breach of the Code of Conduct
- Inappropriate or disruptive behaviour
- Non-compliance with course policies
- Dismissal and expulsion from the program does not entitle the participant to a refund.
- Dismissal and expulsion will be communicated in writing to the course participant.
8. Liability & Assumption of Risk
- You acknowledge that participation in yoga and related practices involves physical activity and inherent risk.
- You agree to take full responsibility for your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
- Shruti School of Yoga and Amy Landry shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damages (physical or mental) incurred during the program, whether online or in-person.
9. Privacy & Confidentiality
- All personal information provided will be treated with strict confidentiality and stored securely.
- Your details will never be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties, except where required by law, legal process, or duty of care (e.g., in the event of a serious safety concern).
- You have the right to request access to, or deletion of, your stored information at any time.
10. Intellectual Property
- All training materials, manuals, and recordings remain the intellectual property of Shruti School of Yoga / Amy Landry.
- Materials are for personal use only and may not be reproduced or shared without written consent.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by, and interpreted in accordance with, the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales (NSW) or Victoria (VIC), Australia, as determined by the course provider.
12. Agreement
By registering for the 300-hour teacher training, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the above Terms & Conditions. A copy of these Terms will also be emailed to all participants upon course commencement.
